THIS BRAVE NATION
This Brave Nation is a unique video collaboration between The Nation, America's oldest weekly magazine, and Brave New Foundation, one of the country's newest multi-media producers. The series consists of six video dialogues between two well-known figures featuring charged conversations about loves, lives, politics and history. Each conversation Is both a five-minute viral video and a 30-minute mini documentary. The shows features: Pete Seeger, Dolores Huerta, Majora Carter, Tom Hayden, Naomi Klein, Anthony Romero, Carl Pope, Ava Lowery, Bonnie Raitt and Van Jones. View the full episodes online →
BRAVE NEW FELLOWSHIP
The Fellowship is a political and creative training program for talented young people of color. Each year, four fellows are provided with an opportunity to work with experienced staff at Brave New Foundation producing online videos and implementing new methods of outreach and organizing
Open Door Training Program The 2007 Fellows ranged in age, race and ethnicity. One was born in a refugee camp in Laos, another in Kabul, Afghanistan, while another hailed from Indianapolis. Each came to Brave New Foundation to be exposed to the world of investigative journalism, new media, and state-of-the-artdistribution strategies. Learn more →
