About the Koch Brothers not answering the question of how many homes they own: I am certainly no fan of the Koch Brothers, but: who cares how many homes they have/own? And whose right is it to ask that question? I could imagine the IRS being interested, but: we private citizens shouldn't expect to answer such questions from anybody. I thought it – to say the least 'ill-advised' that President Obama gave in, 'caved', really, when he gave his long form birth certificate to Donald Trump, a private citizen. It's none of Trump's business, and it is none of my business to look into the homes owned or lived in by the Koch Brothers. (If one or the other of them was running for President, then it would be different, but: they are in the position to decide who will be President under their rule).

Once beyond the daily news cycle I can see the heart and soul of America as in the work of Brave New Foundation. I am also inspired by the collaborative works of “theworldcafe and The Society for Organizational Learning. I can not do everything, however, I can do something at the local level. I am grateful for the inspiration herein.

I was just over @correntewire.com... mumbling about what to do with fellow bloggers... and I remembered a few actions we on the left used to do which felt like they made a difference.. and certainly reached far beyond our blogosphere borders.

Anyway, this is what I said.. which i will leave here instead of searching for direct email.

One act I really enjoyed participating in was when Edwards campaign at one point and MoveOn at a couple of other points in pre/primary days developed an ad... let us see it and then chip in to air it. IIRC, before MoveOn quit doing it, they quit showing us the ad they wanted to air first... which lowered my willingness to blindly contribute. Tax the rich ads alone would be great fun... in print or video. A few hundred to few thousand folk with twenty bucks goes a long way quickly on cable.As a matter of fact I'm going to email Robert Greenwald who is correctly ramping up calls to get out of Afghanistan now to consider doing this.

Charles Koch also bought another house in Aspen for $26.4 million in 2007 and then remodeled it (at the top of the market, so they are not THAT smart!) which this ad does not mention!

Interesting Tea Party comment and one on which every single one of you hangs his hat to justify the criminal behavior of the criminal class. Way to deflect, but let's be precise here: according to your worldview, personal responsibility applies only to the have-nots. When it comes to holding the haves responsible for their actions it strikes you as unconscionable that anyone should suggest the same for them.

Maybe you should wait for the film releases and actually watch them before spouting off. Or will your handlers not allow it?

There was no other choice, Kadafi's army was just on the side skirts of Benghazi, threatenning to kill all rebels (everybody on the city!), one by one, we had to act quickly. We have ways and money enough to stop blood sheds. That was the right thing to be done!
To consult congress would be to open a space of long discussions that Kadafi's army was not going to wait.
I really appreciate the conduct of our Honorable President! He is impecable!
Lybia's people are very courageous and they really deserve a better life, they are our human brothers and sisters and we need to stretch out to help them.

Absolutely hilarious!!! I used to find it hard to believe that there were people in this world like the ones who publish this website and those who support it, but in this day and age of extremes, all I can really do is shake my head. I am sorry that you all feel so agrieved about whatever has happened in your lives, so here is a bit of free (you wouldn't have it any other way you know) advice: Take responsibility for your own lives and the decisions that you make, and stop blaming others for your failings.
